Do you recycle, or just throw it all in the trash?

We have curbside service, but we throw it all away. It takes up a lot of room in our small apartment. We used to, but it's easier to to take out the trash once a day.

They don't offer much in the way of recycling around here. Paper gets collected every month, and they do accept yard waste/compostables separately, so we do recycle those. The rest goes straight into the garbage bin. I've seen some really "green" people that have amazingly clean and small amounts of trash, because they recycle almost everything and use cloth instead of disposable diapers, etc. Our garbage is anything but clean, though!

I don't recycle paper because it's a waste. They talk about how you'll save all those ancient trees by recycling, but paper is made out of fast growing trees grown by the company that cuts them down. I mean no forest is being stripped for paper. Also the recycling process of paper creates a lot of waste.

Other than that I do recycle metal and glass... A recycling bin is pretty small, and fits nicely under the sink.

Although we, too, have curbside service, we very definitely recycle.

Our community is pretty "green"-- so much so that we are charged a pretty penny for Garbage, but not a single red cent for what we put in the Recycle Bin.

I throw away. :( We don't have a recycling service where I live. Wish we did though.

Yeah I go through phases normally I toss the bottles, cans and cardboard in the recycle.

    The rest is trashed.
