Oooh.. twists and turns of NASCAR drama.
Like a soap opera.. these are the Days of Our Lives.
Idk who's lying. But I would be interested to find out.

Bayne's allegience should be to the people that "made" him in the NASCAR world......that would be Ford Motor Co., and the Woods Brothers ( a thinly veiled Roush associate)....... Like Gordon wouldn't have dumped Bayne in a heartbeat if he'd had a chance to latch onto either of those RCR cars out front. This wouldn't even be discussed had the shoe been on the other foot, and Gordon had been the one "using" Bayne......
I agree with those who say it's not even worth quibbling about as neither driver contended for the win.

Bayne wasn't given any specific orders at that moment. It was understood Fords were gonna help Fords. Bayne had to choose between Matt who just lost his drafting partner due to a parts failure, and Jeff. The decision was easy. He was going to make someone mad either way. Better to anger Jeff than the organization that signs your paychecks.

First it's *Roush.
Second, I'm pretty sure if it had been...say Johnson who lost his drafting partner Gordon would've ditched Bayne to help him. Anyways get over it, it's done and over with and either Burton or Bowyer would've won anyways.
