need help deciding graphics card!?
I am after a new Graphics Cards for my dad's PC the two I'm deciding on are the :
ATI READEON HD 5570 -PCI-E Graphics Card - 1GB
Processor manufacturer : ATI
Internal interface : PCIe
Memory : 1 to 1.5 GB
Core clock speed : 500 to 700 MHz
Bus width : 128-bit to 255-bit
Video output : D-Sub
Cooling : Fan
Memory type : GDDR3
And:
NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 PCI-E Graphics Card - 1GB
Processor manufacturer : NVIDIA
Internal interface : PCIe
Memory : 1 to 1.5 GB
Core clock speed : 500 to 700 MHz
Bus width : 128-bit to 255-bit
Video output : VGA
Cooling : Fan
Memory type : GDDR3
As you can see they are pretty much the same but 1 has D-Sub Video Output and the other VGA, I also would like to know what is the difference between D-Sub and VGA?

You'll get better performance from the NVidia card.
Also, D-Sub and VGA are two different words for the same thing.

In order to help, we need to know your motherboard specifics. If the motherboard is too old, it might not interface with either of these cards.
The top answer here sums up the differences/similarities of VGA/DVI/D-Sub:
