Do you recycle, or do you just throw it all in the garbage?
We have curbside service, but it all goes to the garbage anyway. It takes up a lot of room in our small apartment. We used to, but it's easier to to take out the trash once a day, rather than having clunky bins.

Every couple of days, when I go into our little town to get my mail from my box at the post office, I stop at the little recycle trailer. Trailer is there for a week or so. When it gets full, they take it away to the big recycling plant in the city. I bring my plastic bottles, plastic and glass jars, metal cans, and newspapers. Those are all the things they want you to put into that trailer.
It cuts down on how much I have to put into the trash.

when im living in london (where im from) i have to recycle - one bag for paper, plastic bottles and cans, another box for glass, then a food waste bag and normal trash that doesnt fit into those catergories. they dont take away your trash if you get it mixed up
here in mexico (where im living now) you just put anything in one bag, put it on the curb and its taken tues, thurs, and sat. its hard to recycle here, centres are few and far between and there isnt one near me. so its partly laziness but mainly inconvenience and the fact its not so common where i live

I recycle aluminum and cardboard but I have to take it off to be recycled myself.
