on smart phones, watching netflix, does that use up my limited t-mobile data plan downloading?

i'm told its called streaming and that isnt downloading because i'm not saving it.

or does both streaming and downloading the same thing as far as t-mobile is concern?

    If you can watch Netflix over WiFi, it doesn't count. Otherwise yes. Downloading is the act of getting data from a server. You don't have to be saving it for it to be downloaded. You just have to try and access it.

    Streaming and watching videos or listening to the radio station will use all of your data internet plan in a heartbeat. I would recommend using Wi-Fi to watch videos online like Netflix since you have unlimited Wi-Fi internet at any Wi-Fi hotspot location.
