Can you use a dlc on different psn accounts? ?

So I just got battlefield 3 for ps3 and am seriously considering buying dlc for that game. However I have a problem. I have a north american game but the eu ps store. I know from experience that eu dlc will not work on north american games (inFamous gigawatt blades, luckily it was a free dlc) but if I make a north american account and buy the dlc there can I use it on my eu account?

    Yes.

    I play my Australian purchased games with Australian DLC on my US & JP accounts.

    (lol its how i boosted my 'team score' for Marvel Pinball)
