Does multiple personality disorder get you put into a mental hospital?

I have multiple personality disorder, and

Well i just don't want to go to a mental hospital!

I want to know if this can get you put into a mental hospital, because i've heard it could but i wasn't sure.

I mean

does it like depends on what your other personality does and how much of a threat she can be to you or others, or does it not matter?

Also

How does this work, i mean i wouldnt put myself into one, and i dont think my parents would xD

If that doesnt happen, how would you like even get into there?

Update:

The other personality isn't murderous, i dont think, i mean im only a kid so... yeah :/

But she does have quite a temper and when sehs not shes just.. a depressing person. Shes kind of a bully too... Well this doesnt seem like it'll end well xD

    I think it depends what your other personality is like, I mean if it was a murderous person, I think you'd get put in an institution.
