Codeine is the strongest painkiller you can buy over the counter. So i would look for a medicine which contains the highest amount of this if you need good pain relief!

In what way.. just to relieve pain? The best OTC pain reliever is ibuprofen. You can take up to 800 mg of it in one sitting and be okay (unless you're sensitive to it). Ketoprofen used to be OTC but they recently took it off the shelves for some reason. (I used to use it.. but now that it's only offered with a prescription it costs $90 a pill!!!)

well bad news is there is no over the counter med that gives you the good euphoric feeling like tramadol, the closest thing is codeine, but it is always added in a small amount to ibuprofen or acetaminophen so people don't abuse it.

Good day! I would suggest that you first consult a physician to assure you the best results and its safe dose. We can always pull up information like this using internet but for your safety consult a medical practitioner. I hope this helped. Have a good one...n_n
