computer not updating properly?
I am currently running vista and when I try to update my computer, some of them are failing and I am not sure why. It is mostly the security updates and the vista updates. Does anyone know how to fix this? I would rather not have to re-install the OS but if i have to i will.

If you go to Control Panel, Windows Update and then View Update History you can see which ones have failed. If you right click on a failed update you should see an error message and code. You can search on the Microsoft website and maybe find a reason for the failure.
If you are very concerned about the updates the you could do a repair using the repair function on the Safe Mode page. (Tap F8 as computer starts.)
