Do you recycle, or throw it all away (in the trash)?

Question

Do you recycle your garbage, or do you just throw it in the regular trash? We have curbside service, but everything goes into the regular garbage anyway. It's just easier to take the garbage out twice a day, then one bag a day and reycling once a week.

I recycle much of my trash but not all that the town says I'm supposed to. I simply do the best that I can.

I recycle aluminum and plastic.  Don't buy much that comes in glass, so that's a non-issue for me.  Paper goes in the trash... largely because it takes a lot more energy to recycle paper than to make new paper, and since we now have tree farms specifically grown as paper trees, the whole "saving the trees" argument doesn't stand up anymore.

I recycle, the rubbish system in the area is quite good. We get three boxes:
-Cardboard and paper
-Plastic
-Bottles
And then a garbage can/bin for everything else....oh! And there are also caddies we put are food in which can be later used for compost. 

So yes, I am a recycler.
