how do you unzip files?

I downloaded a program to unzip files, but it didn't work. I must have done something wrong and can't figure it out.

Sometimes you have to restart your computer for the program to take effect. Try downloading Winrar. It's great for unzipping and extracting.

I'm assuming you have Windows? Try 7zip. That's what I use. Right click the zipped file and select "open with". If 7zip or 7zFM isn't listed browse to where you installed it and select 7zFM from the 7zip folder. Then go back and open it with 7zFM and your files should be ready for unzipping/repacking/moving.

Usually I would click on the folder (zip) and I'd click on the files inside it .

On Windows, all you have to do is right-click on the folder and choose "Extract all..."
