    Definitely Los Angeles. Hang around the famous houses in Beverly Hills, Hollywood. For the east coast, it has to be New York. Lots of film/ tv tapings happen in New York, and it's pretty much visited by a lot of famous people.

    You may also try the White House, if you want famous politicians.

    Also in some airports. Hang around the large ones like LAX in LA or JFK in NY.
