Wisdom tooth pain....i had my two bottom wisdom teeth pulled out at two seperate times.....?
Each time i got a script for vicodin.i got twenty each time.....my question is if i get my two bottom wisdom teeth pulled at the same time will i get a prescription for 40 pills

The dentist isn't going to calculate how many pills to give you based on how many teeth you had pulled. The dentist will calculate how many pills to give you based on how many he feels will be necessary. If your dentist previously provided you with scripts for 20 pills after pulling out your previous two wisdom teeth, he will most likely provide you with the same amount. Dentists typically provide limited quantities to last you for 3-5 days. If you still experience pain after this you can always call and request a refill. I think that it more likely for a medical doctor to prescribe higher amounts of narcotic pain medications than dentists.

Most likely they will not give you that many. They might only give you 20 but give you the option to refill it.
