Why in God's name does someone like Diane Rehm have a radio show on NPR?
She is almost as liberal as Thom Hartmann or Mike Malloy and she hosts a trashy show and yells at guests who she disagrees with. Plus she has a severe speech impediment that makes her irritating to listen to. Does someone like Diane Rehm deserve taxpayer support? Does she serve the public interest in broadcasting? Or is she one of many paid apologists for the Obama administration and Obamacare?

I guess it's hard for you to accept that she has Right Wingers on her show.
FOX addicts don't like - or appreciate - that kind of 'give and take'.
They're dictator loving fascists at heart - after all.
Thanks for allowing me to prove that to you today - in this forum.

Are you seriously suggesting all radio programs present only the conservative view, as approved by you?
Do your opinions deserve more weight than anyone else?
That's more than a little egocentric, if she didn't appeal to some people she would be replaced, just as if Rush lost listeners he would be. Because she doesn't appeal to you, doesn't mean anything much at all, we can't all be paid apologists for the failed Republican point of view.
Controlling, or limiting the kinds of thinking we hear or read on public media is the way we lose our freedoms. It's always the first step.

First, the show is not trashy and she does not yell at her guests. Go to the link below and listen to the show. She brings liberal and conservative guests and ask intelligent questions.
Less than 5% of NPR funding is government funding and most of that goes to help radio stations in small markets.

She's only been doing radio for well over 40 years.
Just because you don't like her doesn't mean that millions others don't.
Listen to the Rush Limbaugh Show.... he'll say all the things you'll want to hear most!
