Do you recycle, or throw it all in the trash?

If it all goes in the trash anyway, why do they have curbside recycling? Doesn't the recycling go in the recycling truck? I recycle, it saves tons of money on trash bags.

I recycle, but not everything. Curbside pick-up where I live is only every other week, and I do not have room in my small apartment to save two weeks worth of trash. We are a family of three and it all adds up fast.

I recycled all my life but lately, all this pressure and 'carbon footprint' crap makes me want to drive a V-8 engined car and throw litter out on the road. And I have recycled since before it was cool. I caught a woman STEALING my aluminum cans out of my recycle bin and so now, I am collecting them in garbage bags, after smashing them flat, and I am going to cash them in! I just put plastics in the bin now.

both. i think it is overboard what the government is doing bc they have made our trash can MUCH smaller and you cant fit enough garbage in it. recycling isn't even the issue they don't give enough room.

yes i try to separate however sometimes it shouldn't matter bc even though something is still plastic (for exp) it can still be garbage like if someone peed on it or there is regurgitation on it or deification blood or any other un sanitary diseases. if its very dirty its going in the garbage.

We recycle, in our city (UK) we are lucky to have the pink sack, everything like paper, plastic, card, tins goes into that, then we have a blue box for glass. So we just have two kitchen bins, one for regular waste, one for recyclable, and glass goes out to the blue bin. Very easy.

i only recycle plastic bottles and aluminum cans from my dorm room. I throw everything else out. However, when I am at the library, I recycle paper.

Please recycle. You are helping save the earth for the next generation. It seems like a pain at first, but once you do it and get used to it it will be automatic and you will feel good you are doing your part. Dont' be lazy. You get used to it. We did and now it is automatic.
