What to do if adult student is about to die from drugs.?
I am a high school teacher and one of my students is so messed up on drugs (I don't know what drugs) that I think he will not last to 2020. Problem is he is and adult. I tried to get him to see our school Psychiatrist and he did it once when I called security for help but he didn't show up for his next appointment. He is over 18 so I have no legal right to make him seek help. He stills shows up for my class and I try to make him comfortable by offering him tea.
I know he is going to die soon how should I handle this?

Hi peter my husband was in drugs his addiction went so bad to the point of commiting suicide by trying to cut his veines ...everyone oround him "try" to help him but the truth they would only criticize him and that would bring him down even more ..So the best thing to do is to sit and listen. Wwhat is it that he wants or ask him why is the reason why he's using drugs ..but when he gives u his reason don't try to start giving him a speech try to understand his reasons and pretend to also have had passed. Thru the same experiense he is going thru. And then give him the advice of "what u did" to get away from drugs and been clean
