I purchased white and orange pumpkins this year for Halloween.?

I've already cooked the orange ones to use for pies later. Can I do the same for the white ones? Is there any difference in the two in taste or texture?

According to this, yes, and they have a mild flavor.

Yes, you can use the white ones, but it probably wont taste exactly like a pumpkin flavor, add some pumpkin spice to the recipe.

You can use both, but they will both have different flavors. Try and see which ones you like better. I personally prefer the original orange pumpkins.
