What is copyright and how does it relate to a songwriter and a publisher?
This is for my music BTEC report so it needs to be a decent amount of detail but not a colossal amount!

A copyright is a type of federal protection that prohibits anyone from using your work without permission, other than in certain cases (such as fair use).
