The recent news item in the Mail suggests that they may have to rethink committing these millions in the light that providers are not stringent enough in restricting porn-laden contents that are open for all to view.

The Church of England invests its funds in Internet businesses because they offer a good return. Part of the reason they offer a good return is because they give people what they want (often including pornography).
Perhaps the Church of England cares enough about its morals to lose money over taking an anti-porn stance.
Now that would be a surprise!

If has internet business to make money for that political entity. They could not make stand on porn laden sites as it is too controversial for that church to have such an opinion
