Musical Tastes Poll: Musical artist(s) you enjoy who you only recently discovered for the first time?

Salvator Noster by Giovanni Gabrieli. I'm a big Gabrieli fan, but never heard this piece; however, the artist I've just discovered is the conductor/cornettist in this performance, Jean Tubery. He brings a new ear to these early Baroque pieces, and delivers with period instruments from cornetti to sackbuts. He even employs cori spezzati (separated choirs), which I'm yet to find in a live performance and worth listening to (I'm sure they're out there, but I haven't found them yet).

I just wish he'd use more countertenors instead of sopranos, but I imagine good countertenors are hard to come by.

I was in my early or middle twenties when I discovered Glenn Miller and Big Band/Swing music after listening to country music for so long. If I had found the Big Band /Swing earlier on, I probably would have tried to make a career out of it.
