l.o.l. @ Skaggie Maggie, it's so funny how people get upset in Yahoo Answers and have to take out a personal vendetta. How come no one does me? Oh sorry, Biner. Didn't mean to hi-jack your Q. I think this just shows how tough NASCAR can really be. There are a lot lesser drivers than Reutimann, but I for one liked watching Reutimann out there on the track. I hope something works out for him, and MWR. Business is business and MWR needs to score some wins with those Toyotas of theirs.

He didn't prove much with his opportunity. He did win a race. But he never threatened to make the chase and he's useless on road courses and short tracks - places where the driver is really important. He may land a start and park, or a decent Nationwide ride. But he isn't going to land a gig on a top tier Sprint Cup team in the near future.

Maybe part time in a Turner Truck or Nationwide car? He used to drive the #10 for them on occasion back when it was Braun.

  • He will find another ride. Maybe a lousy Cup team ride or Nationwide ride of some sort.

I think its over he just isn't cutting it to keep a major sponser rarely in the top 15 and one full race win at Chicagoland in 2010 and a rain shortened win really doesn't cut it if your not preforming from race to race

He started his cup career with a warm glow...that faded into a smoldering stench. He hasn't been able to become more than an obstacle on the track.

I loved watching his father run that double zero modified on dirt, though...Buzzy was great!

edit: Great pic, Biner. I watched him more in the earlier days in his maroon & white coupe.

Down a level. Nationwide him. Then he can compete with Kyle in the minor leagues.

    It's called nationwide!

I hope he finds something else in NASCAR but if he does not he will end up back at his home sport of dirt racing
