Which would be harder, an NFL player being tossed into a Canadian game or vise-versa?

I am not referring to skill level of the players, I mean the 3 downs vs 4, the longer field, deeper endzones... which player would be able to adapt and perform closest to their normal level in their own game?

NFL defensive backs and linebackers would have a difficult time adjusting to the Canadian game.

Not only is the field longer (110 yards) with deeper end zones (20 yards), it is also 11½ yards wider. So NFL DBs and LBs would have to cover a lot more ground to stay with WRs and the RBs coming out of the backfield that they are assigned to cover.

Plus, the NFL DBs and LBs would have to adjust to all the additional RB and WR motion allowed before the snap by Canadian rules. And, DB and LB contact with eligible receivers is limited to 1 yard from the line of scrimmage instead of the 5 yards which is allowed by NFL rules.

And NFL LBs would have to get used to more pass coverage than run defense because of the Canadian 3 downs rule.

However, Canadian offensive linemen would face a difficult challenge if suddenly required to play by NFL rules. In Canadian football, the defense has to set up at least 1 yard behind the line of scrimmage.

If playing by NFL rules, Canadian OL guys would have to adjust their blocking techniques for both rushing plays and pass protection because the NFL defense lines up at the line of scrimmage. I've heard Canadian players who end up playing NFL football talk about the difficulty of relearning blocking techniques and the footwork needed for playing with NFL rules.

Overall, I'd say NFL guys would have a harder time adapting since DB and LB coverages would be a bigger adjustment.

I think guys playing the WR positions would have the easiest time adjusting to playing by different rules and would be able to perform closest to their own game. Route running isn't that much different between the 2 types of football. NFL WRs would enjoy playing with the wider field and deeper end zones. Plus, they'd like the Canadian rule of only 1 foot required in bounds for a pass completion.

RBs wouldn't have to adapt much for running plays but NFL guys would be required to learn more pass routes and different blocking assignments. So, I'd say WRs would have the easier time adjusting.

being tossed into the NFL . first hardest for d-line cause from being one yard of the ball to right underneath it. the ones that would adapt would be the QB. the wide outs would die with smaller inzone.
