Renewing contracts for tmobile?

So i currently use Tmobile. My dad is the one who pays the bills and everything for the family's cell phones. My dad got me an upgrade a while ago, like a year or two (i think over 2 years). and he recently just upgraded his phone about two months ago. (family plan) . there are 3 lines on our account.

So if my dad renewed his contract, does this mean im stuck on it? like does it renew mine too? or can i just leave the plan? if i leave will it cost him the ETF?

-i wanted to switch to verizon, but my dad wants to stay on tmobile because he just renewed his contract and doesnt want to pay the ETF to switch to verizon. i really dont want to be stuck on verizon. any help?

Update:

if i am stuck under his contract, about how much will the ETF be if he takes me off?

it relies upon if he's eligible for an improve via fact thats the term cellular agencies use once you sign a clean contract for a fone at a decreased value.. (a greater advantageous fone capacity an improve) so your dad wld would desire to call and spot if he's eligible for an improve.. alot of circumstances you may go browsing to ur on line account with ur company and there will be an option to examine 'improve availability' or something like that.. if something shopper provider or a save wld be waiting to tell him if hes stable to circulate..
