Does BF3 really look better on the PC?

Since I have alot of friends with 360s, I'm wondering if getting it for the PC is worth it? Are the graphics that much better?

I would be playing with 2 6850s in crossfire on the PC, and on an Xbox 360 otherwise. So PC hardware isn't a problem. I'm not playing this on a cheapo LCD either, no, I'll be playing on really nice 1080p projector in a sick home theater system.

Also, is the sound quality any different on the PC? The sound will be piped through HDMI to a receiver, and to a top end 7.1 setup. If there's a difference, these speakers will show it. Is there one?

Yeah PC always looks better as long as you can afford all the hardware necessary to make it look good. Because if you think about it the 360 is pretty much the same as a high end computer as when it was released which was like late 2005 to 06 except it's optimised for games only. But bottom line is PC is always better if you can afford the hardware.

XBOX, despite the fact that I love it, looks like someone ate a rainbow and some guns then vomited it onto a screen. PC looks like..... better than real life.
