Why do people think marriage is so disposable these days?
When did marriage become so disposable? As soon as trouble comes along people these days cannot resist temptation to cheat and/or they give it all up, and aren't willing to work it out. Unless your spouse cheats or is abusive to you, why not work it out?

A lot of times, media portrays it so. How many celebs actually have a marriage that lasts more than a year? How many movies do you see that actually portrays Marriage as a sacred thing? Not very much!
In television, it's the same way, a marriage that works out is kind of boring(Or probably romantic to people that like those romance and love stuff), but to a lot of teenagers, it's kind of boring.
People very often listen to the media for anything, beauty tips that we get from friends or family came from commercials or what they see in movies or music videos. Movies and television also dictates how we judge people that look or act different than us.
This can of course be a negative thing or a positive thing, everything has its good and its bad.

we stay in a international the position each thing is disposable. we choose quick, magic treatments to all our ills; hence an irrelevant marriage in the first social gathering and a divorce in the 2d. That suggested, an option answer should be that we are a lot less concerrned with preserving appearances and extra worried with being satisfied. Years in the past, divorce had a severe social stigma, and many people stayed mutually only for that reason. yet society has replaced and now we stay mutually because we prefer to - if we prefer to - and by no potential because we sense we would want to. You be the decide that's the further perfect situation.

I completely agree! But i suppose you can not judge until you have walked around in someones shoes - each and every individual with a name, set of values and motives and they react differently to each situation. Especially with how weak our society has become - western countries have HUGE rates of depression; that developing countries just do not have, do u think this is related? Because we are weak we take small problems too hard and walk out of the relationship.
I also believe it could be because we are so spoiled.

Some people don't believe in a perfect marriage. They cheat and break their vows. Maybe they get bored or fed up with their spouse. It all has to do with something so petty and trivial. I would never cheat on someone I truly love, my soul mate.

Because it's not that easy! The only reason people stayed together in the past is because divorce didn't exist!
