Which of these South Asia weekend visits should I choose?

I have a 3 week business trip coming up and I can't decide how to spend a 4 day weekend in the middle. Here are my options:

1. 4 days in Singapore, following 5 days of business there

2. 4 days in Phuket

3. 2 days in Pattaya (+ coral island) + 2 days in Bangkok city

I've done them all and can't decide where I want to revisit.

It sounds like your budget is ok so how about thinking outside the box. Fly over to Langkawi. This is a duty free Island in the Malaysian chain and its very nice. Good food, cheap booze, wonderful beaches and at least it is somewhere new for you. The airport is good and the shopping is above average due to the duty free aspects.

If you want to stick to your choices... I would do Phuket.

If you are a single male then Phuket or Pattaya would sound great to me. Both these spots are not affected by the floods so its good to go. Bangkok a no no this month due to floods. If you are already in Singapore for business then you can get bored staying there another 4 days. being a businessman you may want to go check out Danang in Vietnam. Another extremely good relaxing spot is Halong Bay in Vietnam. Go on a river cruise. The views are breathtaking... very pleasurable too .
