5 mile wifi through trees?

I'm looking to figure out how to obtain highspeed internet, it's impossible to get them to get me highspeed where I'm at(i don't want satellite and centurylink sucks in my location). I have the option however, to get a highspeed connection about 5 miles away, through oak trees....is this possible using 900 mhz or 2.4ghz? What would you recommend? I'm in southwest missouri, it's a little hilly, but not really, mostly just trees in the way.

Update:

No way would there be 300 feet in cabling from my part...at most 150 feet of cable, and that's if I use a tower or a tree. 50 feet up the tower to the wireless equipment, another 25 in the house.

At the source, it would the same thing pretty much.

Update 2:

it's a backhaul

My advice would be to contact the company that offers the wireless Internet access and ask if they can accommodate you. Hopefully they will come out to your house with some test equipment and be able to offer you some options.

If what you are thinking is to use CAT5 or CAT6 cable, it just won't work. About the best that can be expected with this type of cabling is about 300 feet and then the line lose gets so bad that the connection looses all of its strength.
