Maybe he has some issues at home that he needed to be away from and the only person he trusted to go to is you. Don't just throw him out of your house. 1. Inform your parents so they know he will be arriving. 2. if and when he gets there, find out WHY he ran away. 3. Tell him that it's OK for him to stay the night, but he needs to be going back home tomorrow. 4. Inform his parents so they can call off the cavalry. Police do not need to be involved if he's in a safe place. Tell them that you'll be putting him back on a bus home tomorrow.

you cant make him change his mind. let him come to you. it will be safe for him. if you make him angry or upset he could decide to go someplace else which is more terrifying. tell your parents whats going on so they know. when he gets there let him calm down. he needs to know your on his side because right now he probebly feels like the world is agenst him. when you cant trust your family you tend to feel like you cant trust anyone. once hes calm that you can try to reason. do not force. dont do anything behind his back
