What should I do? Girls answer please?

So I'm a sophmore in high school, 15 years old. I've gone to the same school as this girl (shes a freshman) since like 1st grade. Recently, I've started to be interested in her. I'm not really friends with her, like we never really talk. I kinda like her, but I can't say for sure because I don't really know her that well. I want to start talking to her, but I'm not sure how to. I see around school sometimes, but only between classes like if i walk past her in the halls. Should I just walk up and say hi out of the blue? or Should I try talking to her on facebook or something first? Thanks..

    Say hi out of the blue :) a lot of girls feel like if you just talk to them on Facebook you'll never talk to them in person.

    just walk up and start talking to her.

    it could be a nice surprise and you could start talking more.
