Should I get iPhone 4s or Nokia Lumia 800?

Question

So I'm 18 and being a teenager, no question I want iPhone 4s. I've never had an iPhone before and I've always wanted one but I've been waiting for the PERFECT iPhone to come out (the older iphones had flaws but this one seems perfect!) before I got one. I have an uncle, who lives in the US (iPhones are expensive in my country) who I asked to buy me the iPhone 4s (I'll have it unlocked) but he works at Microsoft, so that being said he's kind of pushing me to go for Nokia Lumia 800 which has the Windows phone 7 system.

Things I want in a phone:

I can text fast on it - since I text a lot, and I text very fast so lagging just isn't acceptable
NO LAGGING
Being able to take self portraits - I ALWAYS take self portraits with my friends iPhones and it's just fantastic
Lots of games/applications - My uncle says Microsoft/Nokia has a lot of downloadable apps and stuff
Fast browsing - I'm always on the internet
MS Office - I'm in college so I have a lot of papers to write and sometimes I would just like to edit them on the go.
SIRI - Siri just looks fun to have :)

SO should I just give in and let my uncle get me Lumia 800? or keep bugging him for an iPhone 4s?

Texting on both phones are fine! THERE IS NO LAG ON BOTH DEVICES!!!

By self potrait, you mean being able to use a front camera right? If that's so, then iPhone 4S wins this round because Nokia for whatever reason decided that a front camera was not needed on the Lumia 800. The rear camera is much better on the Lumia 800 though. But the 4S has the advantage of Full HD video recording.

Apps. Easy. iPhone 4S wins this round by a huge margin. Why? iPhone has way more apps than a Windows Phone device. And some might say, all the important apps are on WP so why need such a huge app store? But here's the problem. Most of the good apps on WP cost more than on iPhone for whatever reason. In my country, Angry Birds on iPhone cost $1 while WP's version cost $3.50! What's worse, is that most apps don't get updated frequently. To simply put it, while iPhone users enjoys more levels on Angry Birds, WP users are stuck with older and less levels as well as less features. Most free apps on Windows Phone Marketplace are junk when compared to the free apps on App Store. If you want a phone for apps, the iPhone and Android phones are the winners of this round.

Fast browsing. I think the Lumia 800 wins. The browser on Lumia 800 is just better. It's fast, cleaner and the bigger screen allows you to view more content. Safari on iPhone takes up too much space on the screen so you have less space for websites to be viewed.

MS Office. Um, OK, Lumia 800 wins this round. But iPhone does offer iWork apps. Although, they aren't free.

Siri. Only iPhone 4S has it so far. But, even though it's fun. It's not gonna be a huge selling point. You might end up getting bored of it some time.

I say, bug him for an iPhone 4S. I'm not saying the Lumia 800 is bad since it's actually good. But there are just some things that the iPhone is better at at this point. The phone itself has much better hardware than the Lumia 800. The phone's dual-core processor allows more graphical games and faster load time for everything. The camera is capable of doing a lot of things and you even have a front one. The screen, although not as saturated or big like the Lumia 800, it has a very sharp screen thanks to the higher resolution on it.

Keep bugging him for an iPhone 4s. Tell your uncle if he loves microsoft so much why don't he buys it? And Siri is only available in iPhone 4s today(but some claim to port it to iPhone 4). You will get all features in an iPhone as well as the Lumia 800. Microsoft and Nokia don't make the coolest devices for college people, it's apple's job!

If you want something good then go for iPhone 4S. There's no comparing iOS with Windows Phone. Windows marketplace is pretty pale compared to Windows marketplace. I owned Windows Phone and I was disappointed with it. Not the phone but the apps and stuffs, nothing like the vast and variety of Apple marketplace. If you want something that you'll like, get the iPhone 4S. Besides, Nokia's first Windows phone, there will be glitches too. I would say iPhone 4S , nokia lumia will be upgraded again and again as it is the 1st windows nokia phone.so will be many upgrades.

I bought elago S4 Slim fit Case because it reminded me of Tiffany & Co. blue... It's so cute! 
Great price! The only thing negative (perhaps) is that it's difficult to get off. But I learned that using a thin card to get one corner off is the trick.

Lumia, awesome phone, awesome software. Try it out in a shop its miles better than iPhone and you won't end up looking like a sheep. :-D
