What tennis racquet should I buy?

I'm an above average player, who plays lots of doubles strong serve and forehand looking for a more expensive racquet as usually i go for a cheap Wilson model eg 'hyper hammer' or the n code but I want to buy a racquet for the next season a bit above my level so it encourages me to improve but also when i hit a good shot i want a good result. any suggestions?

Depending on your price range, I would say either the Head Youtek Radical, Head Microgel Radical, or Babolat Pure Storm. Of these three, I would say the Babolat is the most forgiving frame but also probably has the least 'pop' and it and the Youtek are the most expensive (running around $180 to 200, I believe. The MG Radical is around $90, so it's very cheap.) Youtek Radical is Head's newest technology. It has the same specs as the Microgel, supposedly, but in my opinion the balance and swingweight are really off. The Microgel is a fantastic racquet. Lots of control and less power, so you have to learn to generate your own pace. The Pure Storm is always a solid racquet, not particularly noteworthy though.
