How much time does it take for loitering?
I am interested in find out the exact number of minutes required for standing around minding your own business to become loitering. Also information as legal cases or laws on this question would be helpful.

There is no exact number. It all depends on the facts of the case. Is it a place people usually hang out? Why were you there? How long? What were your plans?

It depends on where you live, and loitering laws are not heavily enforced, if you want to see for yourself go stand in front of a store for 2-3 hours

lol, i don't know, i've been to concerts at madison square garden, hanging out outside on the side walk and cops would say we had to keep moving,
