What happened to the college players who opted for the NBA draft?

No longer in school getting a free education, no longer playing ball for their school or in the NBA.

Question: Did they have time between the draft and the lockout to sign a contract and receive a bonus, or are they just out in the cold without a bank account?

No, they haven't signed contracts yet, but since they aren't amateur athletes anymore, many of them are playing for money in those all-star pickup games that are going on around the country. Also, I'm sure their agents are more than willing to loan them money until the lockout is over.

Well it really depends. The top ones have endorsement deals that they can rely on. Mid-round pics probably doing what they can to earn a buck. Some are taking advantage of little tours and what little opportunities that are available. UK had a UK vs. Villians game to make a little bit of money for former players. Others might be pimpin or something...
