How can I change my nice guy mentality? Like 2Pac?

I'm tired of being too nice. It's possible to change. Look at this 2Pac vid. He was able to do it.

Update:

Basically I got rejected because I'm too nice, and even my parents say it. It's time I change that and stop letting people step over me.

It is possible to be a nice guy and not get walked over. In between passive and aggressive is a nice little mode of communication called "Assertiveness" heres a passage from wiki

    Assertive people

We know we are assertive people when we have the following characteristics:[citation needed]

We feel free to express our feelings, thoughts, and desires.

We are "also able to initiate and maintain comfortable relationships with [other] people"[11]

    We know our rights.

We have control over our anger. This does not mean that we repress this feeling; it means that we control anger and talk about it in a reasoning manner.

"Assertive people ... are willing to compromise with others, rather than always wanting their own way ... and tend to have good self-esteem".[12]

"Assertive people enter friendships from an 'I count my needs. I count your needs' position".[13]

Source(s): Just practice being more assertive, you will notice that assertive people end up having the greatest perk of all, we have this thing we like to call "pride" With a little bit of grace and tact, it is possible to be nice and still get what you want.
