What does it mean to be raped in a dream?

So my friend has been having these reoccurring dreams where she is raped by someone she knows and her family blames it on her. She's only had this dream twice. Both times where by close friends.

The first time was by was apparently by me. She knows that I have met someone who is raped and would never do that to anyone, so she doesn't find me a threat. I'm also the only one she's told about this.

The second time was by a friend who she used to have a crush on but went after another girl. She also doesn't think he's a threat to her either.

The fact that she's had this dream twice with two different people is bothering her. She doesn't understand it. If you guys know anything and could help, it would be nice.

(Please don't think I'm a bad person for her having this dream about this....) :(

    Here are some possibilities:

    "Rape

To dream that you have been raped, suggests a sadistic expression of sexual desire. You may be expressing an unconscious desire to be violated, conquered, or forced into forbidden territory. Some women have a desire to be sexually overpowered, but not hurt. It also indicates vengeful feelings toward the opposite sex. Alternatively, it suggests that you are feeling violated in some way. Something or someone is jeopardizing your self-esteem and emotional well-being. You feel that someone or something is being forced upon you. Dreams of rape are also common for those who were actually raped in their waking life.

To see a rape being committed in your dream, denotes sexual dysfunction or uncertainty."

"Psychological Meaning: For a man this may be a sadistic expression of sexual desire. It may show feelings of vengeance towards the opposite sex. For a woman this dream may represent fears of sex or masochistic fantasies.

Mystical Meaning: Even the Victorian dream books cover this topic. Superstition claims that if a woman dreams of rape her pride will be wounded. You will hear shocking news if you dream that a friend is raped."

That's just a dream about fear of being raped in general. Her subconscious has selected the two people who she is closest to. Not real surprising...don't sweat it. Fear of being raped means she may take certain steps to stay safe.
