I need a mac laptop for programming class, but I also have a high-end Windows laptop. Is there a really cheap model or old model I can buy? I don't want a used one from ebay or anything like that.

The MacBook Air, base model with an education discount. Should run you under $900.

Well I would have said ebay but you don't cheap or used after all!
That said get one with at least a core 2 duo! If you get one with only core duo you can't run 10.7x Lion!
