WHAT ON EARTH IS WRONG WITH OUR SOCIETY!!?

They have left God. They do not obey the laws of life and look down upon it.

But the main reason is that it supports the economy. Sex, drugs and alcohol create a HUGE revenue for the governments and so the government themselves support these things to bring in more money. This is where TV comes into play. Want to look good? Smoke. Want to be cool? Drink. Want attention? Commit adultery.

Once these people regret it they need an escape as the average human mind TODAY cannot comprehend the amount of damage they have done to their lives and cannot comprehend the truth. For this reason people seek an escape. One of these escapes is abortion. Once done the person will think it's not so bad and carry on and commit more illegal acts. All the while the economy is supported and the government won't do diddlysquat to stop it.

So who will stop it? Family rules and morals. But again that is looked down on as it is seen as 'backward minded' or 'old fashioned'. Losing your humanity is apparently more cool than keeping it, it seems. TV shows and cartoons that show kids arguing against parents does the trick. It makes you think it's ok. No, it's not ok. So if the parents cannot handle their kids they send them to the military or the police.

Eventually the child, if exposed to all this, will feel that his/her life is completely messed up. In reality it's not! But then they get into other things such as drugs, deluded by the amount of money it brings in to satisfy their desires. Women get pregnant this way and abort again.

Basically if you follow trends you become an animal, only feeding your physical desires and doing nothing to improve the world, all the while the governments leech every cent out of you.

It seems that God was right after all.

You want morals and respect? Live in the UAE or China. In China morals and teachings are highly valued as are traditions. In the UAE the crime rate is around 1-2 per year!

How is it forcing the kid to have a sex change when its the kids choice and the kid has wanted it all of their life and threatened to do it themselves if they didnt do anything about it. Its not even a sex change, its simply a hormone blocker so they wont undergo male puberty, nothing is permanent and they can change their mind at any time. They have older sons, who never considered a sex change, so its not like they are brainwashing the kids into thinking that they should be girls. I dont think anything permanent should be done until the kids are adults and are ready for that decision, but nothing permanent has been done, and what it says in the article is true, if a child who has gender identity disorder is denied any sort of gender modification and are forced to be a certain gender, they will most likely kill themselves. Id rather have a happy kid who dresses like the opposite gender then a dead kid. This isnt even an "our society" issue, its been happening for a long time, Ernest Hemingway's son had a sex change and became a woman.

Oh, lots of people do! I agree with you. Young people like us (I am 24) tend to be shocked when we realize how bad the world "is getting." However, the older I get, the more I realize the world has always been this bad. Back at the beginning-- Genesis-- Cain just KILLED his brother! Randomly! Because he was mad! On public TV, they had a show about in 1920, how girls got "empowered" and started sleeping around with every boy they could. So it's not just present day that's so bad.

Also, if you read other places in Genesis-- way back at the beginning-- it's insane how bad things really were. Dads giving their daughters up to be raped by gay men, mass orgies, etc. I would like to encourage you, though, to be true to how you feel about these things. Don't "get used to" them as you get older--continue to know they are wrong! Not just the way things are!
