Which is healthier, swimming or playing at the park?
I think it's playing at the park but my friend thinks it's swimming even though it's freezing outside and I told him he'd turn into a ice cube. So which is it?

park. playing and laughing your head off trumps discipline anyday. unless you're playing in the pool. plus breathing fresh oxygen trumps other ppls' carbon dioxide trapped in a large chlorine fumed box. though the constant contact with water is rewarding.

Depends what you're doing at each place.
First of if you swim laps or play water polo it's great exercise and just go to an indoor pool....
In a park if you're running around, than yeah it's good for you, but standing out in the cold and sitting on a swing won't do much...
So just choose something and be active and you're fine.

I would say they both have benefits. swimming uses a whole different set of muscles and it depends on what you do at the park, if you are climbing ladders and lifting yourself with your arms from bar to bar as long as you are active then they both are great sources as exercises.
