How do I teach my dog not to bark at other dogs?

He barks at every dog he sees whether there behind a fence or not. How can I stop him from carrying on like a pork chop? It's embarrassing.

If you are walking your dog, use a choker or correction collar. When you see or notice the dog is going to bark give a single but firm yank on the lead and say in a deep stern voice "NO" then say good once you have moved away from the other dog. Another way is to use a distraction like food to take his attention away from the other dog. Either method will do.

    Hi there,

One good way of stopping unwanted dog behaviours is attending a traning course. You'll learn the causes and some techniques to solve all your problems with your furry friend. A good online course you can follow is: http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=572

Their method is gentle, simple and most importantly effective. I recommend it.
