Why is my needle in low when I am driving?

Why is my needle in low when I am driving?

I have a 2002 F150 and when I park my pick-up, the needle is in reverse, and when in reverse the needle is in neutral and so on.

How can I fix it

    i am not familiar with this truk but yea you might want to chek the link in the transmission its probably coming loose

    Wow, problem only happens with Ford, can't believe a 2002 model is still using needle...just replace the whole car to avoid high risk on other problems.

    You probably have worn out cab mount on the drivers side.

    just adjust the linkage,but may need a new bush
