Which bridle would you choose?

They are both the same company, but I was thinking if I should play it on the safe side and get the bridle with the reviews (the first bridle), or take a chance on a bridle that no one has gotten, or at least not reviewed. I really like both of them so I'm kind of torn :/ And my local tack shop doesn't have either of them so I can't go look at them in person.

1st- http://www.doversaddlery.com/product.asp?pn=X1-122... List price: $169.95

2nd- http://www.doversaddlery.com/product.asp?pn=X1-125... List price: $219.95

I am kind of leaning towards the 2nd bridle, but which would you choose?

Thanks.

Update:

And I would be getting it for mostly schooling and maybe a couple of local shows.

Here's a little secret: These bridles are made from about $10 worth of leather if that.

Go for the bridle you like the looks of best if you're willing to pay that much for a bridle. I honestly don't see one being better than the other as far as quality goes so really your deciding factor should be based on which one you like the looks of better.

If money is a factor then you'd probably be able to find the same bridles for a lesser price by shopping around since with Dover you're paying extra *because* you're ordering from Dover. It's a big company with big operating expenses. It's no different than buying clothing at the mall vs. a smaller retail shop. Not that I'm knocking Dover, I order from them myself. But I've often found that by shopping around you can easily find many of their higher-end products for cheaper prices, with Dover you are paying for the convenience of their large selection and reputation for excellent customer service.

What are you doing together with your horse? If you're simply performing some fundamental education at the flat and over jumps, a traditional snaffle bridle with a snaffle and a cavesson noseband will have to be pleasant! If you could have a moderately extra complicated horse, more potent bits might be used akin to a snaffle with a twist, complete exams, or a dr. bristol bit. For dressage, you'll use a dressage bridle and snaffle bit. A determine eight bridle has a determine eight noseband, which does the identical factor as a flash (maintain the bit in location) however it does not avert the respiring in any respect. I desire this helped!

They are both very similar, I think it depends on whatever color you like best:) Personally, I would go with the darker color, I think it looks better than the lighter colors!

I would go with the second one - darker. Suits all coloured horses.
