Does anybody knows about alchemical symbols?

According to the psychologist Carl Jung, alchemical symbols were products of the unconscious mind and represented unconscious processes. Air represented intellect, water represented intuition, fire represented feeling and earth represented sensation. Aether was the fifth element. In medieval alchemy, aether was invisible, and was considered a transmission medium. The first four elements act through the fifth one.
