is there a way to save Firefox bookmarks when the browser itself is not working?
all of a sudden, firefox is not working on my computer. the "crash reporter" window keeps appearing when i double click the firefox icon.
i'm thinking of uninstall and reinstall it but i was wondering if there's a way to save the bookmarks.

You can use MozBackup from http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/ This will backup your FF and TB profiles, including FF bookmarks, so you can reinstate them later.

a "Reinstall" as you suggest would be what I would do too ... anyway MozBackup is a great option as has been posted already... One I use all the time for Bookmarks and other Firefox items is the Firefox Addon FEBE.. I have been using it for years and love it
