How much might a UK work pension which closed in 1986 with £6,000 be worth now in pension release?
I'm over 55. I know I can cash in a quarter of the pension, but I believe that can be increased if I have a lowered life expectancy. I really want to know a ballpark figure for what that £6k will have increased to over the 25 years.. Many thanks if you can help.
Yahoo Answers is international and I made it clear that it was a UK question. If you can't help why'd you bother answering if you're American? Get a life.

This question appears in the All English Questions section - you will have to contact the pension trustees who should be able to give you the details you require.

And you posted to the USA board for this because you're sure here in the USA we can figure it out for you??
Bottom line. You'll have to call work and ask. No one here could possibly know if it even still exists.
