Is there a California Penal Code that states what time Supermarkets or any store can get deliveries?

I live in California behind a brand new supermarket. I'm fairly certain there's an actual law that states that deliveries and such noise that goes along with that may not begin until 7:00am. Could someone PLEASE tell me where to find the code maybe send me a link?

Thank you!

usually stores get deliveries during the hours of operations.

    Walmart 24/7

Noise abatement or public nuances are written for 10-11 pm till 6-7 am when the majority of people are asleep.

    Section 3480 covers nuisance

    3482.1 covers definitions

    (1) Person; (4) Nighttime 10 pm -7am

    Sad to say I think it's 5:00am not 7

But you have to check with your municipal district for code compliance.

I don't know what City you live in, but I have included a government website below that should help you in determining how to find your local code enforcement officer. If you look at the last bullet item on this page it lists Residential businesses causing traffic/noise problems

It is a standard government website so typing in your cities name and code enforcement should get you to the correct page.

p.s. Many years ago I worked for the Edison company in construction. We had to schedule our trucks for early mornings, evenings and mid afternoons. As you know California has a traffic problem that runs statewide. Local delivery trucks, at least what I was told, try to be off the roads or at their destinations by the time rush hour starts (7:00am) 'we don't pay our guys to waste gas and sit in traffic' was the card statement I always got if I tried to schedule a truck for the wrong times.

Which means we planned our days by getting trucks to their destination or back to base before 6:30am; reloaded and to their next destination before the noon rush and then off loaded and back on the road 2 to be at the home base before afternoon rush hour, then back out again after 6 or 7 if we needed evening runs. Funny I have not worked that job for years but the time frames still are all in my head like a giant puzzle trying to figure out who takes what where and when.

If there is a law or ordinance, isn't a local one. Check with your town or county, not Sacramento.

P.S. Since your local police would be the ones to enforce it, they can answer your question too.
