how do EMT's/ Ambulance workers Handel.....?
I'm writing a story, where the teenage daugther finds her mother overdosed on antidepressents. she calls 911, they come. I just wanted to know what the processure is? and if the daugther is very distraught? when they find a suicide note?

They arrive, check the vital signs, maybe give some oxygen and load the patient into the ambulance for a speedy trip to the ER. EMTs are very limited as to what they can do for treatment.
If there is a note and pill bottle nearby, they may take that with them. Chances are a Police Officer will arrive with them or be called to handle any problems from the daughter and to see she is handed over to a Child Protection Agency until another family member can claim her or until she is placed in foster care. She won't be the EMTs' problem.
