>>>What do you do when you hear bad things being said about your friends?<<<?

1. Do you tell your friend later?

2. Do you high five the person who is talking in the face with a chair?

3. Do you stay quiet and just let it go?

4. Do you join in?

5. Or other?

Im personally #3, I had bad things being said about two of my friends, both about them being fat (they are not!) and some other really terrible stuff. I stay quiet because my friends are the type that confront people about it, while im the person who lets everything go because i hate it when my friends fight...

So what do you do?

BQ: If bad things are being said about you, do you confront the person, or stay quiet?

Also would you want to know if terrible things were being said about you?

  • I don't tell my friends if I have ever heard anything bad about them being said, because there's no point to it and it will end in 2 ways. My friends would either go up, confront them and have a fight with them or they would get really upset and cry :( I don't see the point of telling someone what bad things people have said, because they are just going to end up hurt and it's not a nice feeling, however sometimes my friends do ask me and I will tell them the truth. If it's someone I know and they are dissing my friend I will tell them to shut up and leave them alone

BQ: I would want to know what people were saying about me, even if it hurt, because I would want to know what they think, but if sometimes people are jealous and say rude things, because they are envious. If they call me a ***** for instant, then I would confront them and ask them what their problem is. I hate it when people talk about others behind their back! -.- if you have a problem with someone, just go to their face and tell them. Whenever people talk about me behind their back, I always tell them, you're brave enough to chat crap about me when I am not there, so tell it to my face. Cowards!

I do 1 and 3 depending on which friend it was, who was saying it, and what they were saying. I love my friends, cross them, cross me, simple as that.

BQ: I'd confront them by asking them if they were talking about me. I wouldn't fight or argue unless I had to. And yeah I would want to know if terrible things were being said about me. I don't want to act nice to a person who doesn't have the decency to say it to my face at least.

I do 1 and 3. They have the right to know but I don't wanna start an argument.

BQ: I stay quiet but I get mad. I want to know and I want to know if like my boyfriend was cheating and my friends knew they should tell me. Last year that didn't happen. Wasn't to happy about that haha.

  • It depends on what it is. If it's a stupid comment like "Oh, ____ is so annoying" or "_____ is fat", I just ignore it. But if it's something that could be damaging to his/her reputation if it spread around, I tell them.

BQ: Again, it depends on what is being said. I could care less if they're judging me based on my appearance or what they *think* I'm like.

I'd want to know, simply because I'm an extremely curious person. :P

I stand up for my friends all the time just say no "X" isn't fat and stop calling her that. I will tell my friends later about it.

I am bullied all the time. When they see or hear something i don't they just say let's go and tell me about it.

DON'T KEEP QUIET. A friend should stand up for you!
