What is the best racing game for the DS?

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is by far the best racing game on ps3 in my opinion. Awesome graphics,great production, and very fun to play. The races are awesome and the cop chases are engaging. The game is challenging but not to the point of frustration at all. The only negative comment i have is no 2 player mode. Im old school and dont do the whole online thing.

well the best game on the DS is actually a "Kart" game (Mario Kart DS); Diddy Kong Racing is similarly a "Kart" game too; if you want realistic racing games on the DS, though the graphics are unable to make it look realistic, there's Asphalt Urban GT, Need for Speed: Most Wanted (though better on its home console counterpart), Burnout Legends, Monster Trucks, Crazy Frog Racer, Need for Speed Carbon: Own the City, and Asphalt 2: Urban GT

But Mario Kart is awesome!
