Looking for a restaurant recommendation in NYC theater district. Any suggestions?

Not sure how much you are willing to spend but the following restaurants are definitely legit. I have personally been to all of them and would go back again. They are the best for the area.

1. Carmine's (good for groups- think Maggiano's but so much better)

2. Le Bernardin

3. Rue 57

4. Le Colonial

5. Bar American

you can also have drinks/appetizers at any of the posh hotels in the area.

Carmine's is frequently too crowded. try Lattanzi 361 West 40 six St. precise in theater district with super Italian nutrition. no longer the terrific to discover celebrities besides the shown fact that, yet you never know. They bypass to the extreme priced places, like Mr. Chow's on East 57th off of 2nd Ave. carry close out exterior after 9 pm and you're certain for a sighting. (observed Cher there).
