Here are a couple things that you can do to help you freestyle:
1. Using a dictionary, go through the book and stop at a random page, close your eyes and put your finger on a word with out looking, then open your eyes, whatever word it is on try to find words that rhyme with it, .ex (Kite, fight, smite, night, right, light, might, sight, bright, height, tight, white)
2. After a while, start trying to form sentences with the words, (Flying through you like a kite, keep acting tough you really want to fight, keep your mouth shut before you get smite, the last light you see will be from a bright ruby, you following up groupie.)
3. Write some lyrics in while you're listening to an instrumental, this will get your brain set up, then stop writing replay the song and go off of something that you didn't write, and try to go for as long as you can go.
4. Try to rhyme as much as possible, just not while your talking, maybe in your head.
5. Keep a phone, or something that you can write stuff in or on, so if you actually think up a nice freestyle you can write it down, refine it, and add it to a song.

It takes a lot of practice. this is the stuff you do simplified down to help you begin.
PRACTICING THE FREESTYLE PART
1. first you should just rap a line or two about random things you see throughout your day, like a tv show or a car or even a brick or road kill. anything. this will help you come up with things.
2. Rhyming dictionary: these things help you rhyme better and gets you better at doing it on the spot. carry this around when practicing.
3. listen to rap and how they sinc with the beat
PRACTICING PUTTING IT TO THE BEAT.
1. pick a rap that you already know and find the instramental part only. then use their rhythm and make up your own rap.
2. do keep doing that with a lot of songs until you are comfortable doing that (shouldn't take long if you did the first part where you practice freestyle.)
3. start slow. find a beat that you haven't heard before and write a rap on it and take as long as you can. (repeat a lot)
4. try to come up with different rhythms for each beat that you have.
hope this helps. it takes a lot of practice to learn though.
